Margaret Roberts

I was born and still live in Dun Laoghaire, a seaside town in County Dublin, Ireland. Having worked as a nurse for many years, I discovered oil painting over 20 years ago, at a local art class and now it is my full time passion.

I have attended many art workshops & classes over the years both in Ireland and in Boston, USA. My style being influenced by Van Gogh, Peter Doig and Gerhard Richter.

In November 2021, I had a sell out exhibition at Dublins Art Source art fair.
In 2012, I had a sold out exhibition in Dublin, the proceeds of which went to the Peter McVerry Trust, a local Irish homeless charity.

In 2015, I had a successful exhibition in a local gallery, Brian S. Nolan in my hometown of Dun Laoghaire.
In November 2019, 2021 and 2022. I participated in Dublin’s well known yearly art fair “Art Source”
Selling many of my paintings.
