Maria Molio

Born in 1962 in Gandia, Valencia, Spain.

She lives and works in Toulon, France.

Maria Garcia Molió paints from childhood, inspired by the light emanating from the painting of Sorolla. She paints trees, waves, seaweed as a brush, between orange trees and shells in her village.

Maria observes the painter, received in summer by her family. This is how she paints her first oil-artwork at 10 years old.

Graduate of Graphic Arts, she joined an architectural firm. It is "La Movida in Spain of the years 75/80". Then she went to London in 1983, where, self-taught studied art, traveling through museums, she discovers Turner and the cry of Munch challenges her.

1986, Maria moved to Saint-Malo, studied French, joined the Academy of Plastic Arts and made a business school in Lorient.
International trade leading her to Paris, she travels between France and Spain, visiting museums in Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao. This contributed to enriching and gaining a deep understanding of his achievements in London.

In 1994 Maria settles in Saint-Malo creating in 2002 her company of interior decoration.
