Marina Zvidrina

Marina is Russian born and Barcelona based artist and illustrator.

She works in a realism, figurative and fine art styles. In her personal turquoise and violet palette. Inspired by women’s beauty, models, fashion, design pieces like shoes, etc..
Marina try to reflect in her works psychological pattern of women behaviour, deterministic by technological advance, pressure of new trends, new social roles.
She does with her canvas and illustrations a kind of street-style photographers do with their cameras – catching moments of a regular life, with a fashion degrees.

In 2004 graduated from Moscow State University of Design and Technology with the degree of fashion design. Worked as assistant at the Fashion Design Department in the same university during 2005. From 2005 to 2008 hold her own fashion illustration course at the same place.
Worked as designer in National Centre of contemporary art during two years from 2006. In 2008-2010 was editor-in-chief at the pdf art magazine [,DEVOU’TI;]. Since 2010 working as independent artist, designer and illustrator.
