My work reflects how I see the world—a layered, textured experience where memory, emotion, and perception intersect with the physical environment. I am drawn to moments of quiet drama: the shifting play of light and shadow, the subtle angles of a building, or the unexpected way color can evoke unspoken feelings. These fleeting details resonate deeply, sparking the start of my creative process.
At its heart, my work distills experiences into their essential elements. I’m not interested in literal representation but in capturing the energy, atmosphere, and truth of a moment. I explore the tension between structure and spontaneity, reflecting how we attempt to impose order on life while navigating its inherent unpredictability.
My background in interior design shapes my approach to composition, rhythm, and spatial relationships. I start with a deliberate, considered foundation but allow the final layers to bring in rawness—dynamic brushwork, layered textures, and a sense of movement that feels unfiltered and alive. By stripping away what’s unnecessary, I let color and form speak honestly.
I want my work to feel grounded yet open—to invite viewers to see the world as I do: richly textured, imperfect, and filled with possibility.
