Medar Andreea

I consider myself to be a conceptual artist. My works and my projects are inspired by what is happening or has happened in my country or across the world. I also made works about my own existential problems or questions.

In my last works I moved the emphasis from the two dimensional plane to the three dimensional space and made objects and installations, while also exploiting the relationship between these elements (3D and 2D).

I was educated at the Fine Arts and Design Faculty, Timișoara (between 2012 – 2015) and I obtained my master’s degree in Fine Art – Painting. Before that I studied at the same faculty (between 2009 – 2012) and I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Fine Art – Painting

I have taken part in several art group exhibitions in my country and abroad. I also had a number of personal exhibitions in Cluj, Iasi, Bucharest and Timișoara
