Michele Riche

I am an artist living in CT. I make paintings of people and plants. They are infused with memories of my childhood.. I make my paintings with oil paint on canvas. I either paint from life or reference photographs. In either case, I change, crop and simplify the compositions. For me, painting is a way of connecting to the past and the present. I am able to express myself in a way that feels authentic and honest.
