Marie-France Garrigues was born in Montauban in France, the city of Auguste Ingres and Antoine Bourdelle. She studied Drawing at the studio of the sculptor Flavio de Faveri. In the 2000s, she diversified her artistic techniques, devoting herself mainlyto oil painting. She participates in various exhibitions in France, Spain and Japan. She also exports her art all over the world in both individual and collective exhibitions. She is member of the Societe des Artistes Français, Taylor Foundation, Salon Violet
Cities inspire her and she like to question architecture and its different perspectives to capture freedom, modernity, the passing of time, light, solitude and silence.
