Marco Monteiro

I am a graphic artist and designer working across various artistic fields, including the creation of posters and limited-edition poster series. Each piece begins with a photograph, evolves through a hand-drawn sketch, and transforms into vibrant digital (vector) art, meticulously designed, painted, and laid out on the computer. My work captures the essence of timeless aesthetics, blending contemporary design with a touch of nostalgia. I have a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Brasília (UnB) and am currently a PhD candidate in Theory and History of Art at Nova University of Lisbon, further deepening my expertise at the intersection of artistic practice and theoretical research.

With over 25 years of experience as an artist, I have participated in numerous fairs, group exhibitions, and solo shows. My most recent engagements include the group exhibition Fragmentos de Tema (on display from December 19, 2024, to February 20, 2025, in Cascais, Portugal) and ART EXPO LISBON 2025 (March 7–9, 2025, at Cordoaria Nacional, Lisbon, Portugal).
