Momcilo Macanovic was born in Niksic in 1966. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine arts at Cetinje in 1993. at the Department for Sculpture under Professor Pavle Pejovic. He won the first prize for sculpture by the Cetinje Fine Arts Faculty. He is a member of the Association of Fine Artist of Montenegro (since 1994). Macanovic participated in more than fifty group exhibitions locally and internationally.
