Naman Mahipal

Born in 1993, New Delhi, India; I had an inclination towards expressing my imagination through Art from my early childhood days. I pursued my passion for Art from Apeejay Stya University and have a fervor for bringing alive my inspiration with emphasis on facial themes and expressions. Observing people’s emotions, reactions and poise fascinates me which is dominant in my creations across Art Forms.

My accentuation is creating Sculptures made out of Wood and Steel which are my go to mediums along with acrylics, Charcoal Pencils and ink for other art forms. I design a 3D model from an abstract idea and then the journey of giving life to the physical embodiment begins.
Religious iconography is another recurring theme evident in my artwork inherited from my mother's inclination towards spiritual teachings & wisdom which drives my inspiration towards this genre.

At 28 years, my works have been showcased at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and various Art centres across Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore .
