Natalie Hemkes is an award winning multi media artist based in the UK.
Her unique and engaging aesthetic is an emotional response to the events around her through imagined landscapes and unseen moments in the natural world.
She invites you into a realm of inverted gardens and exotic layered tapestries that simultaneously evoke both joy and reflection .
The whole paradigm of what is 'real' and what is 'artifice', is questioned. What is in this moment versus what is in the next, is blurred by creating works of such intense chromatic vibrations that they inspire you to 'feel' her work as well as just see it.
