Ng'endo is a multidisciplinary artist based in Quebec, Canada, originally from Kenya. Her work explores the dualities and connections within global cultural narratives, emerging from the confluence of her two worlds—geographical, cultural, and perceptual. Her practice is rooted in a deep attentiveness to connection: between people and place, memory and material, the intimate and the expansive. Drawing from both her diasporic experience and a profound sensitivity to the rhythms of the natural world, Ng'endo’s work traces the undercurrents that move beneath visible experience—those quiet forces that tether the personal to the collective, and the fleeting to the enduring.
Ng'endo explores how disparate realities can inhabit the same emotional terrain.
Her visual language, ranging from layered abstraction to symbolic collage, reflects a world in which difference is not dissonant, but deeply entangled.
