Mykhailo Novikov

I, Mikhail Novikov, was born in 1996 in Ukraine, in the city of Kharkov. All the life I live in Kharkov, I also received my education in this city. I am inspired by the creative process at Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts. A constant presence in the creative process motivates me to draw pictures. Creative dialogue with students gives rise to new ideas for my creation.
In my paintings I use oil paints, sometimes I use acrylic paints for imprimatura. With these materials, I achieve smooth gradients in the spots, and I can also achieve vivid color ratios.
I studied to be an artist of monumental painting, in my hometown I paint murals.
In 2017, I participated in the IX International Forum "Design Education 2017", won first place in the drawing competition, and was awarded a diploma from the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
On February 26, 2018 participated in the painting exhibition: "Nude" in educational productions of students-monumentalists KSADA.

In 2013 I graduated from the Kharkov Academic Art Lyceum.
In 2018 I graduated Kharkov State Academy of Design and Fine Arts, specialty monumental painting.
Since 2019 I have been working as a teacher of academic drawing at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Fine Arts.
Since 2019 I have been studying in graduate school at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Fine Arts.
