Nancy was a National Merit Scholar and received her B.A. and M.F.A. degrees in Fine Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles where she studied with and was exposed to the work of influential California artists.
Nancy Wood began working with digital media during the early 1990’s and exhibited with seminal digital artist groups International Webism and the New York based Visual Arts League. She has developed a unique style that blends photography and digital painting. Her artworks are included in collections in Japan, Belgium, the Medical Colleges of Virginia Hospitals and the Las Vegas Art Museum. She has developed courses in visual design for colleges and universities and her publications include articles for the Association for Educational Communication and Technology, the International Visual Literacy Association and the Association for Advancement of Computing in Education.
