Olena Bezkostna (b. 1989, Zaporizhzhia) is a contemporary artist based in Lviv, Ukraine. Her multidisciplinary practice encompasses sculpture, installation, and performance, with a particular emphasis on glass as her primary medium. Bezkostna also frequently incorporates materials such as enamel, copper, and concrete in her work.
Beginning her career as a stained-glass master and designer in 2011, Bezkostna transitioned to independent artistic practice in 2017. Her work is characterized by complex, time-intensive projects that often comprise multiple elements.
Bezkostna's art explores the boundaries between concept and form, frequently addressing philosophical themes through her innovative use of materials. Her pieces challenge viewers to reconsider their perceptions of reality and the creative process.
