Pelin Ulger

Hello,
I always enjoyed creating with my hands. As a kid, I was very lucky to "literaly" play with mud, doing crafts, and usually creating our own toys and puppets. After an intensive professional life in multi-national IT companies, I retired on 2014 to focus more on my sculpture works. I love the endless possibilities on creating with clay; its versatile medium, the textures, being able to create functional forms or abstract sculptures. The connection between hands and material makes every creation deeply personal and unique.
I love to create sculptures that would make you smile and would brighten your day.

I am graduated from Saint Michel French high school in Istanbul, Turkey. Completed my majors in computer sciences.
After 30 years of employment in for multi-national companies I decided to quit and focus on sculpture.
I have pursued my sculpture and ceramics education with various skilled artists. I continue to learn different techniques and perspectives from each mentor, enriching my journey in the field
