Petra Balekić

Petra Balekic (1989), graduation student at the Animation and New Media Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Got MA degree from the Department of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (2013). Got a scholarship for Salzburg Summer Academy 2015 in which she worked in the class of artist Adriana Czernin.

Interested in expressing thoughts, believes and feelings by various medias, techniques and styles; lately doing it mostly through animated movies.

Participated in several exhibitions and workshops, had couple of solo exhibitions, presented her first animated movie on Animafest 2016.
