Piotr Kostecki

Piotr Kostecki,
Born in 1966 in Cracow, Poland. Graduated State Art High School in Cracow in 1986, focusing mainly on drawing and variety of graphics arts, with diploma in Exhibition Design profiled class, under the supervision of professor Maciej Radnicki, and obtained a Technician Artist degree. He completed his education in 1991 graduating Graphic Arts department on Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, specializing in drawing, etching and copperplate engraving. Finished with distinguished diploma in printmaking class, with specialization in Engraving, under the supervision of professors Stanisław Wejman and Jacek Gaj, earning a Master of Fine Arts professional degree. Field of interest: drawing; painting; illustration; graphic arts: intaglio, etching, copperplate engraving, woodcut and more. He has participated in numerous solo and collective exhibitions. Piotr's works or art are found e.g. in Museum of Engraving in Legnica, and in the collections of several private collectors all over the world.
