Polina Urbanova

Polina Urbanova, born in 1990 in Russia, currently lives and works in Prague, Czech Republic.

An artist, and a psychoanalyst at the same time, in her works, Polina presents her own analysis of the world around her and herself in order to convey her impressions in images that will push the audience to reflect on various topics (the main thing is to reflection).

Polina's pictures are a space for projections that arise in the audience and draw them into the flow of free associations, and, as a result, into the abyss of self-knowledge.

Just as there are no right or wrong answers in psychoanalysis, so in the perception of art we are not guided by aesthetic templates, but only by our sense of inner pleasure (or displeasure). Thus, the paintings add authenticity and uniqueness to the interior.
