Highly unusual depiction of a relaxing day of women shooting the breeze. Taking a break from life's hectic pace is the inspiration and motivation behind creating the piece using mixed medium with oil pencils. Choose this medium and style because it is not seen often and shows the diversity of my art...

Born in Jamaica and educated in the United States, this self taught international artist has developed a distinctive painting style that combines refined drawing lines with oil and oil pastels to present figures in abstract. Influenced by his travels, his subject matters relate to everyday people and events. Each painting tells its own story, sometimes multiple stories, when viewed carefully. His evocative imagery often exudes seduction with an urban edge. He is also known for his eclectic furniture designs. He combines artwork with unique functional sculptured wood pieces. His use of exotic woods with natural designs enhances his work. He has had several successful showings at historic Harmony Hall in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Pegasus Gallery and Mutual Life Gallery in Kingston, Jamaica. He is also being featured at Orange Park Gallery International in Tampa, Florida and Michaelhouse in Cambridge, England.
