The impressionistic brush strokes draw you into the painting and create a sense of movement within the picture. The thick brush strokes keep the eye moving throughout the painting , so you see something new every time you look at the piece. Oil painting is so versatile that the more I work in it, the more new variations in technique and color are discovered. And I'm very attracted to the opportunity to constantly improve and experiment.
