Namaste!! im V.Raajendran from southern part of india a beautiful town called Thanjavur(Tanjore), where it is rich in its culture, values and heritage. presently i live and work in Bangalore India. during my childhood i grew in an very inspiring environment my neighbors were mostly musicians, artists, theater persons and Classical & folk dancers. i use to see all dancers, hearing musics and watching paintings, i love admiring all this things. those days iam a frequent visitor to world Famous the Tanjore Big temple in my native tamil language we use to call Tanjai Periya Kovil, and different museums, monuments, fresco paintings, sculptures, paintings, bronze statue. those moments were very inspiring and still keeps me in awwww factor. after i finished school in Tanjore, i joined college of art and crafts Madras India 1962-68 during those six year Renowned eminent artist Prof. KCS panicker was my Mentor he is an remarkable man with such great personality and charisma. when ever he enter my class or i see his presence i could feel the positive vibe .we discuss lot about art. and my favorite artists were European Masters like Henri Matisse, Paul Cezanne Braque, Van gogh and eminent indian painter Amirta Shergil. at that time i use to do symbolized & mythological subjects at present im working on semi figurative, pen&ink drawings, watercolor and folk style panitings.
