CURIKULUM VITAE: Saso Petrosevski Novak was born in Rijeka on Susak, Republic of Croatia. He was educated in Zagreb. Academically educated. In 1988, he chose art - painting as his life's vocation. In doing so, he satisfies the ever-stronger urge that draws him irresistibly towards artistic expression from an early age and accepts painting and art as permanent professionalism and a way of life. So far, he has organized over 40 solo exhibitions in Croatia and about 10 abroad: USA, Canada, Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia. In the period 1993-2016. started and in the summer months worked in the "Atelier SPN" in Rovinj. So that his pictures can be found in almost all countries of Europe and the world. He participated in several group exhibitions and art colonies. He participated in numerous humanitarian auctions and donated more than 200 paintings to help the victims of the Homeland War. He has received several awards and certificates of appreciation for his artistic and humanitarian work. Organized several art colonies and art workshops in primary schools in Zagreb. Launched by Portal Croart.eu He started and runs a non-profit association: Art workshop - "LIKORA". Initiated and launched "Sculpture Park" in Park Maximilijan Vrhovac in Stubički Toplice. In the mandate 2018-2022. held the position of President of the Administrative Council of the Center for Art Education in the City of Zagreb. From 2021, he holds the position of Head of Culture and Ecology in Stubicke Toplice. The art oeuvre includes more than 2,000 paintings - original author's works, in the following techniques: oil on canvas, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and combined techniques in cycles: "Landscapes" (with Mediterranean motifs of the Croatian coast and Zagorje), "Panoramas of Croatian cities", Abstract motifs in the cycles: "Metamorphoses" and "Levante", "Nudes", "Cats and Beasts", "Tulips", "Angels" and cycle "Sacral motifs". His work has been recorded on several occasions in the media: newspaper articles and TV interviews. He lives and works in Stubički Toplice, Zagreb and Rovinj - in Croatia, Europe.
