A Polish multi-artist, poet and spiritual seeker, I am in an infinite and at times frantic quest for a true meaning and connection with something much bigger than… only to find by ending the sentence that it’s just this ethereal, all-pervading mesh that gives structure to you, me, any piece of art, or trash, one subtly turning into another and then again. So, what can I tell you. Maybe a few background sentences. I was born in Lublin, a university city close to Belarusian and Ukrainian borders, strongly influenced by Jewish heritage, klezmer music and cruel memories of Holocaust. In this city, one cannot escape their soul, a thorny gift that cannot be unpacked quickly. I studied painting and workshop graphic in European Academy of Arts in Warsaw, blessed to be taught by Wiktor Zin, Franciszek Starowieyski, Ryszard Osadczy, Stanisław Baj, Agata Stomma, Szymon Bojko and other incredible artists whom I will forever be grateful. Yet my artistic path wasn’t smooth. For many years, I was trying to focus on finding my place in the so-called material world, with success and a broken heart. I photographed a lot, mainly forgotten places that called me to be seen and felt. It ended up as a 10-year project closed by a book () I designed and issued by myself. In 2022, after coming back from a weirdest trip to Colombia, I quit my career and decided to start anew. I took up watercolor, a quiet medium that has a life of its own and teaches to listen and observe. I’m in love with the experiential nature of the process where my boundaries as a creator just fade away. My artistic life greatly benefits from spiritual paths I’ve been wandering around throughout my whole life. As a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher I explore subtle realms of the soul-mind-body framework of human beings, everyday startled with new discoveries.
