Hunger for Life Print - Limited Edition of 10

My name is Oliver, and together with my partner Lena I am one part of – a dynamic digital nomad duo, creating from and inspired by whatever place we are on this beautiful, vast and fragile planet. Our purpose is to inspire people to live a mindful, resource-conserving and sustainably healthy life full of abundance. To create a sense for deep relationships towards themselves, their people and their surroundings. To convey that every little moment of life is to savour to the fullest and thus to ensure more mindfulness and deceleration in the world. And last, but not least, to create things that make people happy! The prints you are about to find here are one highly important medium for us, not only to give visual form to that which fascinates, inspires and amazes us, but also to achieve this goal. I was born and raised in the southeast of Germany, followed by spending almost my entire 20’s and 30’s in the Rhine-Main metropolitan area. Then, I made a cut. I left everything behind and started a new chapter because I felt a strong longing for nature, for freedom – for life. Following the call of love, I joined Lena, who also left her home country behind to discover the wide world. Since then, we have been living and travelling together and pursuing our lives as a creative couple. When creating, I love to follow the light, to chase these majestic moments full of sparkle – regardless if I shoot emotional portraits or inspiring landscapes. So, I also draw inspiration from these natural moments of bliss. Lena is the muse of my life. She enjoys being herself in front of the camera and showing all facets of herself. This enables us to create highly sensitive and emotionally charged portraits together, almost all of which are taken in natural light. I am a self-taught freelance photographer with training and years of experience as media designer. My medium of choice is the digital camera. It allows me to experiment and to explore the boundaries of what’s the highest level of emotion to catch with a single picture. I love to paint with light and to conceal other aspects in the shadow. I experiment with self built filters and love to refine my images digitally to create an enhanced version of life as I find it in front of me.
