Ody is a Greek international artist, he has been involved in photography, drawing, pyrography, painting, hagiography, and creating works of art made of copper. When I create works of art from copper 1) I create oxidation of the copper, and I do not use paints. Final result of the works of art, I use varnish to protect it. I oxidize the copper with materials that exist in nature and it is done by hand.b) Another way is, when I have created a work of art, instead of oxidizing, I do it with Gold or Rhodium. This process is called gilding and periodiosis. c) The works of art I create are made on copper foil.d) In most artworks you will see frames that I have in my artworks that I make for her. I use fir wood for the frame and velvet cotton for the black background. In the pyrography I use marine plywood wood, I burn the wood to create the final result. In some works of art I put water-based paints. The end result is that the inside of the wood can be seen on the painted surface. The tools I use to make the copper works of art are made by me. Due to the elasticity of copper, I start and slowly build the work of art, until it comes to the final result. To perfect this technique I worked for many years to get this result. My involvement in iconography has helped me to create works of art in my own style, with themes in the Orthodox tradition which I make from copper and then oxidize the copper for a final result or gold works of art that are unique. The themes of the works of art are from Greek mythology, history, from the Byzantine tradition, from the Italian Renaissance, Egyptian mythology, history, from nature, animals. In the field of jewelry, I have designed and manufactured many designs in earrings.
