(Born in Girona, 1974, lives in Barcelona). Alvaro Soler Arpa graduated in drawing, at the ́Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Olot ́, and later in illustration, at the ́Escuela Llotja de Barcelona ́. After a career of 20 years in the field of advertising and cinema, drawing story boards for directors such as Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu (Beautiful, 2010) and Woody Allen (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, 2008), he began to develop his career in the visual arts. In his work, Soler Arpa combines his knowledge of anatomy and drawing with his interest in organic forms, focusing on installation and sculpture. He has exhibited in both Spain and Germany.
