Emilie Reil

I live in Southern Alberta on the Crown of the Continent, the most diverse ecological system in the world. I am an educational assistant on a Hutterite colony and run my own small business, Wild Woman Sundries, where I sell soaps handcrafted with essential oils and herbs. My nature photography gives me a way to explore the concept of sacred space. Do we live in harmony or out of harmony with our environment and when will we once again realize we are all interconnected and rely on each other for our existence? A lot of people go off the grid and forego luxuries. I believe, and hope, we can weave science and nature together into a harmonious existence with our environment.
