Sarah has found truth and validation in Andy Warhols statement “An artist is somebody who produces things that people don’t need to have.” While having great respect for artists that are able to make a powerful statement through their work, for her, art is not required to have meaning nor purpose. With old book pieces, ephemera and subtle signs of life as her palette, she combines worn colors and textures to create a sublime balance and richness.
