Sarah Posey is a visual artist living and working in Moss Point, MS. and Mobile, AL. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design. (Graduation Date: May, 2021) Her current artistic interest is in examining American death culture through the lenses of ornamentation and superstition. She has always had an interest in uncovering the hidden workings of emotional processing, as shown in her last body of work which examined manufactured microscopic images of emotional processes interacting with one another. She works in a variety of mediums, from acrylic and oil on canvas to video installation. She hopes to see death positivity and emotional intelligence spread throughout the world.
