Born in Havana, Cuba in 1965, Fundora today resides near Mexico City. He is widely collected in Mexico and Latin America, appearing in many newspapers, art journals and solo shows, and has now gained an audience in New York and Europe.
Fundora's work seeks to emerge itself into the inner world of men and women, reliving their dreams, the state of their souls, their nostalgia and their internal dialogue. Hyper-realism is one of the means to approach his subjects.
