"Seeing the life from different perspectives, sometimes very close, sometimes from afar, beyond the mists. I try to draw by looking at objects and subjects from different points. I like using different materials, playing with materials and having variety in materials while doing that. I use specific advantages of each material, complement the missing parts with another material, add my own interventions to the richness of this combination and the abstract integrity appearing clearer with every moment forms my compositions.

I continue with abstract compositions that started my collage works with old newspapers, colourful papers, transparent papers, pastel . Sometimes geometrical forms, sometimes dark and clammy walls, sometimes a different corner of the nature, coincidences, colours, stains, overlapping lines, layers, close, far perspectives.... Harmony and fiction of the light and colours, contrasts and tones... I leave some open doors for the viewers while re-interpreting my perception using my painting language so they can go in the painting. I consider the painting complete at that very moment of sharing with the viewers."

Graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics.
1998 Started painting studies with Devabil Kara at the Evening and Weekend Workshops at Marmara Universty, Faculty of Fine Arts. The studies lasted for 2 years (1998-1999 and 1999-2000)
1998 - 2000 Became a student of artist Yusuf Taktak in the painting studies organised by the Association of Painting and Sculpture at Yildiz Technical University Yuksel Sabanci Art Center.
2000 Took part in Atolye Ucgen directed by Yusuf Taktak.
2000 - 2005 Worked in Yusuf Taktak’s group at IAM Summer Academy.
2005 Left Atolye Ucgen.
The artist a member of Unesco Aiap and continues her works in own atelier.
