Svetlana Khoroshkina

I am an artist from Kazakhstan — a land of vast skies, golden light, and deep cultural traditions that continue to inspire me. With a background in architecture, I am drawn to the harmony between structure and intuition, geometry and emotion. My creative process is intuitive and emotional, guided by the desire to transform inner feelings into texture, color, and light.

Working mainly in mixed media, I combine acrylics, gold leaf, and epoxy resin to explore the dialogue between the visible and the unseen, the material and the spiritual. My artworks often include Arabic calligraphy, adding a meditative and sacred layer that bridges tradition with modern expression.

For me, art is a reflection of peace, beauty, and emotion — a way to share love, light, and inspiration with others, and to create a quiet space where the viewer can pause, feel, and connect.

I hold two higher education degrees that have shaped both my creative vision and professional path.
My first degree is in Economics, which I received from Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan State University. It gave me a strong foundation in discipline, analysis, and structured thinking.

Several years later, I pursued my second degree in Architecture at Satbayev Kazakh National Technical University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Architectural studies opened a new dimension of creativity for me — teaching me harmony, proportion, and the importance of spatial balance.

This combination of analytical and artistic education allows me to approach painting with both emotional depth and structural awareness, blending intuition with precision in every work I create.

Created a series of custom paintings for well-known cafés and modern interior projects, blending warmth, texture, and cultural symbolism.
