Can an artist rediscover the world?
Yes, if the artist has a visionary gift and can look deep into things, not just the surface. Then a painting is not just the artist's self-expression, but a letter, message to people or a specific person where the visual artist talks about something new.
I like working with different techniques: watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil. Each technique is a world that enables the artist to enter and use his magical properties. In my paintings I strive to convey feelings of peace, joy and sometimes sadness or movement, hope, renewal. If the viewer gets inner feelings or has thoughts through his perception of my paintings then the message has reached its destination. My paintings are in private collections in Norway, Finland, Russia and Germany.
