Tanja Hirschfeld

Through the use of various artistic techniques and symbolic languages from different cultures, her works bridge the gap between people of different backgrounds. She is actively involved in the fields of Fair Fashion Design, graphic design, and exhibition curation, intersecting her wide range of activities to merge her artistic vision with a commitment to social justice.
She is the founder of the artist collective „Die Villa,“ which has been engaging performatively with the role of women in society since 2018.
In 2021, she exhibited with the collective at the Munich Pinakothek der Moderne on the theme „Feminine – The Power of Women in Art and Society“ and presented her tree installation „m!ss!ng“ on the lawn of the Art Museum „Haus der Kunst“ in Munich.
In 2023, she showed her textile work at the group exhibition „Hey, Alter! Museum und Generationen“ at the Pinakothek der Moderne.
Her works have been exhibited in Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and the USA and are held in private collections worldwide.

Tanja Hirschfeld studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and graduated with a diploma in photography.
