RECOGNITION

Tracey Thornton was born and raised in greater London and now lives with her husband and two, young sons in Surrey.

Tracey's family inspire and motivate her to capture moments of sheer joy, that many will relate to, such as: messing about in a meadow in "Butterfly Storm"; or playing hide and seek in a bluebell wood in "Silver and Blue".

Tracey works predominantly in acrylic, collage and mixed-media in a vibrant, contemporary style. Tracey donates a percentage of the value of each piece of artwork sold to charity, calling it, "feel good art in every way".

Current Collection: Butterfly Series
Tracey's Butterfly Series in mixed-media adopts 3-D or 2D butterflies to beautifully represent scenarios, emotions, senses or actions whilst bringing additional movement to this distinctive collection. Pieces include landscapes and abstract work in "First Flight" and embrace colour in a liberated style, rewarding the viewer with a sense of well being.

From July 2016, Tracey has been a resident artist with Flat Space Art, Notting Hill, London.
