Tyler Dan

I am a self-taught abstract painter. My work is influenced by much of what I see and experience in my everyday and natural environment. I have a keen interest in landscape, natural forms, sculpture, architecture, textiles and jewellery.

My work aims to avoid symmetry and search for balance. As an intuitive painter, I do not approach the canvas with an exact plan for what each piece will become. I use my relationship with colour and form to develop abstractions arriving at an organic result.
