Valeria Ferrari

Valeria Ferrari was born on the 8th of December 1988 in Bari, Italy, where she still lives and works. She began her studies of art and music very young and attended the Conservatory N. Piccinni to study cello. At the same time, she attended courses in ceramics and drawing. Following high-school she enrolled in the faculty of psychology and then attended some post-graduate courses in "hypnosis", "symbolic modelling" and "interpretation of the drawings of children".
Her interest continued to turn to art in all its forms.Together with the artist Anna Guerriero, she created the first collection of “Gioiellid'Arte”, small watercolour paintings made of silver and glass mosaic from the ancient furnaces of Murano. With these works she created her first exhibition in 2010 –“Arcus CaelestisVenetiae”- in the gallery “DivisioneArte” in Bari. During the exhibition she performed a reading that provided a synthesis between colours, sounds and video images. The performance aimed to induce the viewer to follow a unique and personal artistic path through installations, which became an integral part of the work itself. Her work continued with a new exhibition in 2013 in Venice in the “Basilica del Frari”, in the important "Sala del Capitolo" where, ...

In 2018 she is protagonist, together with her father, a well know international pianist, in the famous Teatro PETRUZZELLI in BARI, with an exhibition conceptually similar to the piano concert of GHERSWIN and ALBENITS. An innovative format that has great success within the whole audience, so much that the date in the theatre was repeated the following week.
In this period she is first selected and then invited to PALAZZO XIMENES in FLORENCE to expose one of her works, which will then consent her to receive the “BRUNELLESCHI” prize, a recognition of the strong artistic value manifested.
At the same time, she is inserted in the important art catalogue “L’ELITE”, a point of reference for many collectors.
Starting in march 2018 she becomes the artistic consultant of KUBO, a new space in Bari that has as it’s objective that of helping perceive art with the Mind and with the Heart through the use of Aesthetic Empathy – KUBO #touchyourvision.
In April 2018 the gallery “AREA CONTESA ARTE” calls her to be part of an exhibit of 100 painters in the historical Via Margutta, one of the streets that has always seen many artists and painters of the world pass. From this moment on a very special collaboration with the art gallery of ROBERTO ...
