Micky Jansen

Born in the Netherlands, I expressed myself through art at a very young age.

I attended the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague in the mid sixties and after moving to the U.S. I studied at SCC in Scottsdale. I have studied design and sculpture with artists in Europe and the U.S.

Formerly located in Scottsdale, Arizona and I am now based in Goshen, Connecticut.

1966 - Attended the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, the Netherlands.

1980 to 1986 - Attended art workshops in Scottsdale, AZ and at Scottsdale Community College.

1987 to 1994 - Moved back to the Netherlands and studied with Frans Erkelens (student of Johfra, surrealist) and Kees Houwaart (abstract expressionist and graphicus).

1995 to present - Moved back to the USA where I continue to further my artistic education with classes and workshops exploring differens media.
