Yana Istoshina

Istoshina Yana, was born in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Since 2014 - Member of the Union of Designers of St. Petersburg.

Since 2003 Yana studies computer graphic, works mainly with Photoshop and creates digital art. In addition, Yana does not disregard traditional painting, as considers these skills to be a necessary base for any artistic activity, as well as for enriching the visual language.

The first stage of Yana’s creative development is the art of photography and photo manipulations. During this period, Yana worked in a photo studio, taught a course on photo processing and individual lessons, participated in many competitions, exhibitions, both collective and individual, and was published in photo magazines.

The period of passion for photography and its deep retouch lasted from 2009 to 2014. The works of that time were mainly with dark surreal content.

In 2014, Yana began to study digital art more deeply, trying to combine her skills in photo manipulations and traditional painting.
