ZIM&ZOU are two french artists, based in Dordogne, France. The duo is composed of Lucie THOMAS, born in the Vosges in 1987, and Thibault ZIMMERMANN, born in Paris in 1986.
ZIM&ZOU are a duo of artists specializing in sculptures and installations with countless details. Their favorite material is paper, which they meticulously manipulate to give life to vibrant, intricate and colorful works. Their poetic four-handed creations surprise with their performance and the emotions they awaken. Skilfully transcending simple materials like paper and fabric, or more noble ones like leather, ZIM&ZOU approach a variety of themes in a singular way. Inspired as much by the nature as by the technologies, they translate their vision of the world into dreamlike scenes. Since 2009, their expertise in paper sculptures has earned them international recognition in the world of art, design and illustration, as well as numerous collaborations with prestigious clients. Strengthened by these experiences, ZIM&ZOU continue to explore the many facets composing their universe.
