My current practice uses ancient philosophy as a guide to nature and the cosmos. Plus, an enduring fascination with antiquity, which has resulted in extensive study trips to ancient sites and museums across Europe. The work centres around layers of destruction and ruin within objects and places. It loosely explores the fragility and impermanence of the past as an allegory for contemporary environmental destruction.
