Dick Twinney

Born 1943, originally from Devon has lived and worked as a wildlife and countryside artist in Cornwall for over 40 years. Totally dedicated to Cornwalls natural world and its inhabitants.Dick Twinney lives in the heart of the Cornish countryside in the Market Town of St. Columb Major. His style of painting is traditional ultra realism. His main influences are Archibald Thorburn, Robert Bateman and Raymond Ching.

Became a Professional wildlife artist in 1973 after leaving thr Royal Air Force. Has exhibited widely over the years all over the UK including London. Has also had one-man exhibitions in Canada and Germany, but over recent years has remained in Cornwall.
