Kofi Owusu

Contemporary Ghanaian artist and student of Takoradi Technical University. I create vibrant textile artworks using discarded fabrics, materials people often overlook but which carry hidden stories.
By transforming waste fabric into expressive compositions, I challenge ideas about value, memory, and renewal. Each piece is built from layered textiles that provide texture, depth, and movement, turning remnants of the past into something new and meaningful.
Sustainability is central to my practice. Through reuse and creative repurposing, my work celebrates transformation and reminds us of the beauty that can emerge from what we throw away.
