A simple soul who could happily sit all day and observe the light change. Constantly in awe of the natural world. Attempting through my painting to honour the essence of places visited where I have felt how small we are in the face of the grandeur of nature, but also how much we are a part of it. Hoping to share with you the peace or wonderment I have felt in these landscapes which inspired my work, allowing you a moments calm from all the busyness and noise of the world. Grown in Australia, voyaged to the other side of the planet, currently in France. Calling the marshlands of Charente-Maritime home for now. A region with a low horizon and enormous skies; perfect for cloud appreciation and watching storms rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean.
