I was born in Chicago and later moved to Los Angeles, where I became a Getty Images Contributor. Some Academy Award-winning & nominated actors I have photographed are Allison Janney, Michelle Williams, Casey Affleck, Kate Hudson, Octavia Spencer, and Ryan Gosling to name a few.
I've been a painter for 14 years now. I consider myself a Contemporary Portrait artist. I prefer bold colors and leave the background muted and with little clutter so that the subject stands out.
I only work on cotton paper, watercolor, and acrylic paper, and I love using acrylic paint, gouache, pastels, watercolors, markers, charcoal, pencils, and chalk.
