🔹Instagram: mahdec0🔹 I am Mahsa, an Iranian artist and architect based in Berlin. With a background in architecture and a love for creative expression, I use my art as a medium to explore raw emotions. Inspired by my Persian Heritage, Ayeneh-kari (Mirror Artwork), my works merge art and architecture. My works are where light and reflection of Persian history meet contemporary art. Mirror work (Persian: Ayeneh-kari), dating back to 17th century, is a kind of Iranian traditional interior decoration where artists assemble finely cut mirrors together in geometric, caligraphic, or foliage forms. This creates a shining surface covered with complex facets, reflecting light as intricate abstract patterns or glittering reflections. In 2025, this traditional Persian art was inscribed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
