Who is Christiane Mader?
I am a freelance artist and photographer from Weilburg in Hessen, born 1977. After finishing art school with a degree in painting and photography in Gießen I came to Wiesbaden in 2007 where I work and live ever since. My studio is located in the Westend, a popular neighbourhood for the creative scene.

Rescuesheets
are photo collages on thermal sheets. Usually I use them as canvases to eternalize moving moments of life thereby creating unique works of art with a passion for detail.

Thermal sheets? Yes, indeed!
Everyone knows them not many have needed them. Thermal blankets have a gold and a silver side, they prevent us from hypothermia as well as from overheating and they do save lifes every day. They can be found in any regular emergency kit. They are also handed out to runners at the end of a marathon.
