Sarah Kutz

Architect and self-taught artist, painting for more than 20 years large and small mixed media paintings. In my work, I embrace spontaneity and gesture through the act of splashing and pouring paint, allowing each material to react freely on the canvas. I am drawn to non-traditional methods of exploration, where the absence of fixed rules opens space for creativity and unstructured problem-solving, releasing the illusion of control.

My practice centers on the sensory experience of painting itself rather than a predetermined outcome. For me, the process becomes a channel of expression, especially for emotions that resist verbalization.

This approach is inclusive by nature: it does not rely on technical mastery or prior experience, but instead invites openness, curiosity, and the simple joy of engaging with color, texture, and movement.
