Tiana Tytarenko is a self-taught visual artist based in Hamilton, Canada. Originally from Ukraine, she has lived in several countries, experiences that have shaped her artistic perspective and creative journey. She began painting in 2016 after creating her first artwork as a personal gift, which sparked a passion that led her to pursue art full time. Her distinctive style combines layered acrylic textures, nuanced color, and an emphasis on emotion and memory. Since relocating to Canada, Tiana has continued to expand her practice, including two solo exhibitions at the Shevchenko Museum in Toronto and Legacy Art Gallery in Mississauga , Ontario. Today, her paintings are held in private collections internationally. Influenced by artists such as Frida Kahlo, Maria Prymachenko, and Vincent van Gogh, she is inspired by the power of self-taught creativity. Her work seamlessly blends modern abstractions with traditional Ukrainian motifs and impressionistic techniques, which explore universal themes of belonging, resilience, and transformation, inviting viewers into a space of reflection and connection.
